On June 21st, the second day we arrived. My American friends Kayla and Adam are still in jet lag, and they are still in the after shock of yesterday’s site visit.
We had our first-morning meeting at 8 o’clock, there are 3 students from the Rutgers University, one student from the Iowa University and 8 students from the UW and 12 students from GuiZhou normal Univeristy. The TA and Daniel quickly assigned us to six groups and hustle us to visit the assigned site. The site is all covered by landscapes and dead wood, the structure next to the site will be rebuild to a gallery for the artists, said by Mr. Song. There are many Scholar stones on site.
Looking at a site without a map is fresh, we are not able to do sun & shade analysis, we can only estimate the topology, we are not exactly sure about the boundary of the site.
After having lunch, we went to a welcome ceremony host by the Normal University, we are been asked to sit in the front seat where leaders usually sit. To be honest, it is like going to a UN meeting and I am a little too excited because of the treatment.
