I have less than a week until I am on a plane to Germany! This is my first summer study abroad and I am excited to travel and see what this country has to offer me. I have honestly not really been thinking about this trip because there are so many other things happening in my life. I just have to let it sink in that I will be in a total other country this time next week.
This past semester my Praxis Studio class had the opportunity to go to Germany to present our designs to our client Emschergenossenshaft. I think that trip gave me a little taste of what this summer may be like, but this summer will be better. 🙂
I have yet to pack my clothes and belongings and get ready. I started to list out all the things that I need so I dont forget anything on this 5 week journey.
A few things I need to do before I leave New Jersey:
-say goodbye to my family and friends (make sure I actually see everyone)
-drop my cat off to a responsible friend
-still figure out my financial situation for spending money
Preparing for this month-long trip is surprisingly not overwhelming at all. I can’t wait to finally be in Europe and start living in Germany for the whole month of June!
