All this week we had very interesting lectures and outdoor activities. We learned about mapping, how to use GPS when in the field. We also went to the Belize Zoo. The best things I liked about the zoo is that all animals are from Belize and were in their own habitat. All animals looked good, and there was information to learn about each animal. Kids always coming to the zoo to learn about animals that they have in their country. We had a lecture about crocodiles. I learned many things I did not know before. For example, when crocodiles laying down on the ground with their mouth opened, it means that they are cooling their brain. Also, crocodiles are no more included in reptile class. They have more common characteristics with birds than with reptiles. Today, we also tried to use a stick to deliver drugs. It was fun.
