Having left our luxurious Wyndham hotel, our next destination was Yanayacu, a research station […]

(Horse pic left to right: Brandon Pollard, Emily McCue) Upon arrival, me and a fellow recipient, Emily McCue, arrived prior to everyone else in the program, so we had a some down time to explore Ecuador a bit. After arriving to the hotel, we looked across the street and realised something fascinating taking place at […]

What Is This? Who Are They?

This blog is home to the thoughts and images of Rutgers University students as they travel the world this summer. Each student received a scholarship to experience the sciences beyond their New Jersey borders. In addition to the research and/or coursework, they will keep a journal or blog. Their thoughts are recorded once or twice a week over the duration of their international experience.

For more information about this scholarship, please visit the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences International Programs page at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
